#3. Courtney Lawes (Northampton Saints)
Age 34
Position Lock/Back-row
After making his debut in 2009, Lawes quickly made a name for himself on the international rugby stage. Within two years, he secured the Investec Man of the Series award and represented England in the Rugby World Cup.
Despite being born in Hackney, Courtney grew up close to the Northampton Saints’ home ground, and he received his first international cap against Australia in November of the same year.
Over the years, he played in several Rugby World Cup matches and helped England reach the final in 2019. In 2016, he marked his 50th cap for England by scoring his first try in a 37-21 victory over South Africa.
He was also selected to play for the British & Irish Lions in New Zealand, where he made an impact off the bench in the second Test victory and third Test draw.
