Former All Black Julian Savea’s wife has blasted the standard of French rugby after her husband’s recent outing for his new side, Toulon.
During a heavy 37-10 loss to Stade Francais on Monday, Fatima Savea shared a series of tweets in defence of her husband, slamming the overall quality of the competition.
“When you can see the frustration on your husband’s face… I swear this team doesn’t know how to pass,” she posted on Twitter.

After accusing his new teammates of being incapable of passing, she also took aim at the referee.
