Head coach Andy Farrell has named his Ireland team to play Wales in their 2023 Six Nations opener in Cardiff.
Johnny Sexton will be the captain and will be partnered by Conor Murray in the half-backs after Jamison Gibson-Park pulled out of the XV.
The lineup also includes Stuart McCloskey, Garry Ringrose, Hugo Keenan, Mack Hansen, James Lowe, Andrew Porter, Dan Sheehan, Finlay Bealham, Tadhg Beirne, James Ryan, Josh van der Flier, Peter O’Mahony, Caelan Doris, and replacements Rob Herring, Cian Healy, Tom O’Toole, Iain Henderson, Jack Conan, Conor Murray, Ross Byrne, and Bundee Aki. The match will be broadcast live on various television and radio channels.
When is Wales vs Ireland:
The two sides will meet on Saturday 4 February 2023 and the match is set to kick-off 2.15pm GMT at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff. Tickets for the fixture have sold out but fans have been advised to go to the Welsh Rubgy Supporter Exchange if they wish to sell or buy tickets.
