England scrum-half Jack van Poortvliet went viral for all the wrong reasons as he was swatted away during Leicester’s Champions Cup defeat in Dublin.
The Irish province thrashed the Premiership champions 55-24 in Dublin to become the first side through to this season’s Heineken Champions Cup semi-finals.

Returning to the site of his infamous red card with England 20 days prior, he found himself playing in an unfamiliar left-wing position.
The effects were apparent as he struggled against James Lowe in the early stages and was later caught off-guard by Ringrose, ultimately leading to Jamison Gibson-Park’s game-deciding try.
