Tonight, The Telegraph has reported that Billy Vunipola is poised to make his return to the field after his last game in April.
This return will take place as England squares off against Wales at Twickenham, with Steve Borthwick opting to reintegrate key players following the previous weekend’s loss.
The accomplished Owen Farrell will reclaim his position as captain, leading alongside his Saracens comrades Jamie George, Maro Itoje, and Elliot Daly. These players are all anticipated to rejoin England’s starting lineup.
Henry Arundell, with only one prior Test start under his belt, is slated to enhance the team’s speed from his position in the new backline. He had previously featured on the wing against Ireland during the conclusion of the Six Nations tournament.
Adding to the lineup, Ollie Lawrence is set to begin in the midfield, having successfully recuperated from a knee injury incurred during a training session back in June.
