England legend Steve Thompson has slammed the international sides current crop of players after their abject performance against France.
Steve Borthwick’s men lost 53-10 to France on Saturday, their heaviest home defeat.
They are likely to face even tougher opposition in Grand Slam-chasing Ireland on the final weekend.
Thompson, who doesn’t watch rugby much anymore, has had his life turned upside down by the diagnosis of early onset dementia.

Commenting on the game, the 2003 World Cup-winner wrote: “Media hype. I don’t comment about rugby much.
“I think rugby players deserve every penny they get but the current England team are stealing a living!
“Social media and hype! has a lot to answer for!!”
