Marler earned a remarkable 95 caps during 12 years with England, claiming three Six Nations Championships along the way.
A one-club legend
Marler’s entire club career was spent at Harlequins, where he made 204 appearances, winning two Premiership titles and the European Challenge Cup. His final bow will be against Bristol Bears at The Stoop on Friday.
Daisy Marler – the “rock” behind Joe’s success
Off the field, Marler’s partner Daisy has been his unwavering supporter, but she’s no pushover. Known for keeping Joe in check, Daisy has played a pivotal role in helping him juggle the demands of rugby and fatherhood.
Back in 2017, Joe revealed:
“My wife, Daisy, is very good at helping me balance the two [rugby and fatherhood]. Sometimes the team has double-days, and I need to get an early night. She’ll do the night shift with the kids.”
Who is Daisy Marler?
Daisy is Joe’s wife and, as Joe calls her, his “rock.” Together, they share family moments with fans through their Instagram page, @thingsthemarlersdo.
While Daisy often avoids the limelight, she appears frequently on their family account, giving followers glimpses of their everyday adventures.
A lasting partnership
The couple tied the knot on June 24, 2017, and have since built a strong bond rooted in love and teamwork.

Joe and Daisy are proud parents to four children – Pixie, Maggie, Felix, and Jasper.
In August 2024, the family enjoyed a day out at Camp Bestival in Dorset. Joe shared adorable snaps of their children beaming with joy.
